Today there was home economics as usual. We made some kind of kueh, and though the process was tough and tedious, me and Ryan finished our cake/kueh. I have no camera, if not I will take down the picture of the kueh for you. The food tasted great! We added vanilla essence, butter, tapioca, milk, and many more ingredients. It is boring to cook alone but fun to cook with others. However, something unexpected happened during our cooking. Now let me explain something first. Me and Ryan's food were put in the oven with Ilyas and Sylvester's. However, a while later, we found out that the oven temperature was changed from 180 degrees to 250 degrees. So both our kuehs got burnt. But it still tasted nice. Later, there was Scrabble. In case you do not know, I have been playing Scrabble since primary 3. Maybe you think it is exaggeration, but I assure you that is the truth, the whole truth , and nothing but the truth. I joint the LD club, which mainly has to do about everything associated with English. We played word games, boggle, upwords, guess the catch phrase (Eg. Whale of a time will be represented by a whale on top of a clock) and other fun games. That was how I developed my passion for Scrabble. I played my first tournament at the end of primary 3, a junior Scrabble competition. I did not win (No surprise), but I started training hard and by primary 5, I could beat most of the primary sixes. In primary four, me and 4 friends were grouped into a team (We were all equally strong) and we started going for competitions. In fact, since primary 3, all of us already went for competitions. We really did the school proud, even continuing what the primary sixes had started-winning National Champions 3 times in a row. In fact, we were sent to a free trip to Perth, Australia at the end of primary 6!But I shall continue that later tomorrow...Now it is already 10 o'clock. I shall go to sleep.

Something that took place in school.
Today I had physical education. There was soccer. And it was continued for last week. Ah! I was not good at it. I could not lift the ball into the air by kicking it. Why can't they play basketball instead? It is not that I do not like it, it is that I prefer anything other than soccer. The teacher said that this year we were doing soccer and hockey. But I remembered doing floorball/hockey last year. I think that because we do not have a basketball CCA in school, they think it is not important. What happened to growing tall? What happened to basketball? Soccer happened to basketball, that is. With soccer around, how can I play basketball with people? For that matter, how can I play basketball? Nobody at school plays basketball anymore (Except for a few rarities that are near extinct), the court is always taken, I am the only one who still likes basketball. Soccer is a violent game. I have had that impression since someone pumped a soccer ball from one side of the basketball court, hitting me at the OTHER side of the basketball court (No kidding). A basketball court is 28.65 meters. The soccer ball flew that length and hit me in the stomach, smack in the middle. And, this is adding on to the fact that I just happened to walk past. I mean, come on, what are the odds? I have decided that to solve the problem I have to watch more YouTube videos on basic skills for soccer. Am I smart, or am I smart?

Saturday to...
On Saturday, I wanted to go down to play basketball. But nobody wanted to play with me. So I stayed at home and used the computer. Well, there is not much to say for Saturday, so I will proceed to Sunday. On Sunday, I had swimming lessons. This time, I swam freestyle for 4 laps. God, I was dead tired! To any other people who see this you might laugh and say, "Stupid Boiiii!" But to me this was a very spectacular and enormous feat. On that note, I am taking swimming lessons as during primary 3, when I was supposed to take the test me and my unnamed friend went to the toilet to hide during the test. Now that I think of it, it sounds rather stupid, right? But when I was there, living the moment, we were supposed to go to the deep pool! To a primary 3 kid, that was life threatening issues! On Monday I posted yesterday's blog. Hmm, what else should I write about? Ah! Today ( Today is Wednesday) I made peanut butter cookies today and though it turned out a little dry, my family still liked it. Today I also had scrabble training and was appointed leader. Does it sound nice? Well, you are wrong. Actually it is not fun. I have to keep attendance and check for things that are left behind when we leave our training room. And, being a not-so-responsible person (Usually I am the one who leaves things behind), I guess that I shall have to grow up and start being a responsible and good boy.

Sorry.
For the past few days my computer was spoilt, and now I have tons to blog! Let me start on Friday. On Friday, I decided to be a good boy and go for my Red Cross. Well, actually I am supposed to go for my Red Cross, but you get my drift don't you? This is the first time the seniors were so hard on the few of us, but I suppose it is because usually there are only an average of 4 people, and since this time 17 people came, the seniors decided to train as much as they can in case they skipped training next time. I think that this method will not work, but I do not want to tell them. After all, always listen to your elders, right? Let me explain why I do not agree. If you train all the people who usually do not come, then they will dislike it so much they decide not to come again. It makes sense right? If anyone sees this please comment on it. On Friday, I do not think I did anything else worth mentioning. Wait, there is one! We started our Chinese New Year decorations, and I have to say, our house looked pretty nice, and I was impressed. We were hosting aNew Year's party, and that was why our family had spent so much time doing up the place. I am looking forward to the party, and cannot wait for it! Well, since I have written so much, I shall continue Saturday tomorrow.

Eventful Day!
Today was a very eventful day. I played basketball for the first time since school started. I was very disappointed. My basketball shooting had deteriorated and it was horrible. I played after school till around 4pm and by then, and I knew I had to start practicing. Then, when I finished playing and was walking back from home, I realised something horrible had happened...

Half Day!
Today was a half day. I wanted to play basketball but the court was booked for floor ball practice. I have not played basketball for a long time already. Being a good boy, I went back home. Unusually, today I saw my grandmother on the way back home! She was near Macpherson (Is that how you spell it?) and I was very surprised. I mean, she lives in Ang Mo Kio, same as me. To add on to it, I only happened to take 76 as I only have 2 buses, 55 and 76. Coincidentally, I took 76 this very day. This must be fate. Today for CDE-TTT, the teacher showed us a video about a man with no arms or legs. Yet he still manages to get on with life, and is now over 30 years old. I feel nothing but awe for this guy. If it were me, I would have wanted to end my life. I am sure most others will do the same. So, when the teacher taught us to plan our goals, I decided to be a useful person to society in the future. And to do that, I have to start studying hard. Then, and I can give back to society when I grow up. I also had another goal: To get good results so that I could get a mobile phone! My mother believes in rewards, so I have to work for my mobile phone. For me to achieve that I have to study real hard and revise my textbooks everyday.
